Hi ALL
Club members had the ASCI course to themselves Wednesday evening.  The water was perfect and the air was warm.
The entrance feature was set to a nice (if shallow) hole,
Feature A was a great big breaking wave and
D was an amazing, friendly wave hole.

Hope to see even more members next month or on our yough loop paddles or rolling at asci pond.

After the paddle we had a quick meeting.
We're working on T-shirts (wicking) with our logo (yes, members are working on this too, so if you have ideas email Judy-- Judypitman7@aol.com), and a couple sponsors.  If your business is interested in being sponsor and having logo on the T-shirt.  Email Judy  Very Happy

It's membership renewal time.  Memberships run from July 1- to June 30th.  Chara and Judy will be in touch with folks soon asking for renewals.  We are also trying to add a "lifetime" member category for $100/one or $150/couple.

Brain is working on codifying a few more discounts at ASCI--stay tuned.

We're going to affiliate with American Whitewater.  Stay tuned for more info on member benefits.

We confirmed that college and high school students can join for $10 for the first 10 people and $1/person afterwards.  we'll put you in touch with the 'leader' (first person to join from your school).  So far we have Frostberg State students.

Don't forget--July 3rd on lower 5:45/6:00 we'll do some playboating instruction.

We're also looking at cosponsoring a kids event with Charter Schools and ASCI and doing a kids clinic in August.  If you're interested, please contact paige (k1paige@aol.com) or Brian (bhomberg@adventuresportscenter.com)

We’re thinking about
a booth at the Yough Festival.  Let us know if you’re interested in helping out with that.
See you on the RIVER!
Paige
