Trip Report - upper youghA break in the weather and sunshine alllowed for an impromptu river trip for several club members Sunday Feb 24 on the upper yough. Members Chuck Stump, Jim Field, Chara Whittemore encouraged the others in our group (Ken Keyser and Cici) to join the YPC. Chuck and Chara had an on the water meeting to organize and encourage future river trips. Anyone with a desire for a particular trip or would like to lead a trip are encouraged to contact either Chara or Chuck. The trip was rather uneventful with the water slighlty below two feet. Many of us were running more conservative lines due to the temperature of the water. At the end of the trip the members adjourned to the hotub to warm up.
